Imagine having this perfect throw down only for the runner on third to get home by obstruction, but so they get this guy on a rundown, but then the guy on third starts taking off. So he goes home, which he should. The catcher gets the ball, he throws it, but the ball doesn't get there in time. The runner gets home because of obstruction. I think this rule was changed in 2024. It wasn't changed, but it was enforced a little differently. You know, I can't remember the whole details.
